We almost ran out of popcorn

If you’ve been following this blog long, you know that once a month inspiration Island Host movie night. We had a great group this weak as we enjoyed Miracle on 34th Street.

We learned that Santa Claus does in fact legally exist and is in fact still in the business of making dreams come true. After more than 50 years, we would definitely call Miracle on 34th Street a Christmas classic.

When the movie was over we decided we wanted more popcorn. so, we watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. All we can say is that Gene Wilder is the greatest, and if you enjoy musical movies, you owe it to yourself to watch this one again.

A great time was had by all. We hope you will join us next month to start off the new year with some friends and a great movie.

Here at Inspiration Island, we study art of all kinds. Join us for a Family and Friends Movie Review Night at the Drive-In!

Sometimes we show classics that have been remade. Follow our events so you can prepare yourself by watching the remake/reboot beforehand…then we compare and provide commentary on which we liked better and why. Music Theater Classics are also a great favorite, a valuable study tool for our music students and great fun for everyone as opinions are shared!

Showings are for review, critique, and educational purposes only.
